Finding the right treatment program can be an overwhelming process.
We work with clients and their families to design customized programs, then walk them through the entire recovery process. We offer complete Case Management, including travel and admissions logistics, financial consultation and insurance application assistance, family and employee communication (when appropriate) and the establishment of appropriate aftercare programs.
Call Addiction Treatment Services International and connect to a Treatment Consultant to confidentially discuss your (or a loved one’s) addiction or psychological struggle.
Your Treatment Consultant then asks specific questions to get an insight into your struggle, treatment needs, location, and finance/insurance details.
The Treatment Consultant evaluates your clinical and resource-related information to determine the best course of treatment for your unique case.
Your Treatment Consultant informs you of the type of program you need based on the clinical and financial information you provided.
Traumatic experiences can lead to substance abuse and behavioral health issues. Those who have experienced tragedy, conflict or any other traumatic event often develop post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression or chronic anxiety.
Our Trauma and PTSD Program helps clients address, process, and heal their past experiences, while developing healthy ways to manage stress.
Drug and alcohol addiction often go hand-in-hand with mental health disorders. In order to effectively treat clients, both conditions must be addressed.
Each client is assessed during the admissions process to identify any co-occurring disorders and to develop a treatment plan that addresses both substance abuse and behavioral health issues, such as depression, anxiety or trauma.
Treatment doesn’t end when a person leaves our program.
In order to prevent relapse, ATSI connects alumni with appropriate groups that will encourage them to stay clean, stay motivated, and stay engaged with others in positive, healthy ways.
Our Relapse Prevention Program allows individuals who have been through treatment to participate in events and activities at our facility and receive additional counseling and therapy as needed. We remain in contact with our alumni to help them continue to develop the tools needed to stay sober.
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a highly effective treatment modality in which therapists and counselors work to challenge the thoughts of individuals struggling with substance abuse and/or mental health. Over time, the goal is to help clients realize the power of thought and how thoughts affect our actions, behaviors, and emotions- not people or past events.
At ATSI, we utilize CBT to help clients process painful experiences, manage conflict, and react to stress and stressful situations in healthier ways.
Our experienced, licensed therapists work one-on-one to identify specific situations in which clients react with negative thoughts and develop ways in which clients can modify their thinking and view these situations from different perspectives.
Psychodrama therapy is unique in that it encourages clients to achieve the rare perspective of viewing their lives and addictions from an outside angle. During psychodrama sessions, clients typically meet in small groups to discuss past struggles and act out, or role-play, real-life situations from their actual pasts. The goal is to learn how to react to trauma in a healthier, more constructive way.
Psychodrama helps clients express thoughts and emotions that have otherwise been buried under the surface, as well as give insight into patterns of substance abuse, and ultimately increases the chances for long-lasting recovery.
Addiction often develops as the result of a traumatic, painful experience or experiences. The emotional scarring and unwavering fears associated with trauma can become so intense, to the point where behavioral health issues develop and/or self-medicating with drugs or alcohol becomes a way to numb the pain.
Our trauma therapists give clients the skills and resources to gain control over their lives, improve communication skills, and find healthier ways of coping with past traumas.
The Relapse Prevention Program at ATSI provides individuals who have been through treatment opportunities to participate in events and social activities at our facility, and to receive additional counseling and therapy as needed. We stay in contact with our clients long after treatment to ensure they have developed the tools needed to stay clean and sober.
After having completed the program, clients can always reconnect with ATSI through alumni programs or other key supportive measures intended to:
Foster a sense of purpose.
Encourage interpersonal bonds.
Offer enrichment programs that help in all areas of life.
We offer support during and after treatment so that relapse can be prevented and properly managed. We encourage alumni to participate in support groups, which provide ongoing motivation and support.
